Is carnivore diet good for fatty liver disease?

My doctor said I have fatty liver disease and I need to make some serious lifestyle changes. I read about the carnivore diet online; can it help with this condition?

Haan na, eating only meat for liver issues sounds a bit risky. The liver needs light food to heal, ho na. Better to stick to simple ghar ka khana.

Managing thyroid and liver health requires a lot of care. Extreme diets can disturb your hormone levels completely. Please get regular liver function tests done and follow up with an endocrinologist before making big changes.

No, a carnivore diet is generally not recommended for fatty liver as it is extremely high in fats which can overload your liver.

I used to drink buttermilk with jeera and had light bottle gourd juice for my liver health, which really helped. Eating heavy meat all day will only increase heat and burden your digestion. Keep your diet simple.

Reversing fatty liver needs a healthy calorie deficit and regular exercise. Try 30-40 minutes of brisk walking daily if your doctor allows. Don't rely on extreme fat diets which might harm you.

I strongly advise against starting such restrictive diets without clinical guidance. I always consult the hepatology department at Aster Medcity for liver issues. Please get a proper diagnosis and diet plan from a specialist.

Fatty liver and diabetes often go hand in hand. While cutting sugar is good, replacing everything with red meat can shoot up your cholesterol. Focus on healthy fats and green fiber instead.
