Is carnivore diet good for fatty liver?

My husband was diagnosed with fatty liver recently, and he's heard about the carnivore diet. He's thinking of trying it to reverse his condition. Is this diet really good for fatty liver?

Eating only meat for fatty liver sounds very heavy! It's much better to eat lots of fresh green veggies and fruits to help your liver heal naturally. Stay happy and take care!

I had Grade 2 fatty liver last year and reversed it. My doctor told me to avoid heavy fats and red meat, and focus on high fiber instead. An all-meat diet is the exact opposite of what you should do for liver recovery.

Instead of extreme diets, try moderate exercise first. Doing a brisk 40-minute walk daily and cutting down processed sugar is a proven way to reduce liver fat. Always check with your doctor before trying intense diets.

I get so worried reading about extreme diets like carnivore. Doesn't eating only meat put a lot of load on the liver and kidneys? Please get your blood tests done first; I would be too scared to try this without a doctor's okay.

The carnivore diet is highly controversial, especially for liver conditions. High intake of saturated fats can sometimes worsen fatty liver. I strongly advise you to visit a gastroenterologist at a good hospital to get a proper diet plan.

For liver health, drinking warm water with lemon and eating fresh home-cooked food is very beneficial. Heavy red meat can make digestion very difficult. If your liver enzymes are very high, please consult a proper doctor immediately.
