Is cardio better for weight loss?

I'm trying to get back into shape and reduce my weight. There's so much information online about exercise. Some people swear by weight training, but others insist on cardio. Is cardio considered better than other exercises when the main goal is weight loss?

From what I have seen over the years, cardio is excellent for cardiovascular health, but it isn't the only way to lose weight. You need a good balance of healthy eating and some muscle building too. Don't push your body too hard suddenly; start with moderate walks and see how you feel.

Honestly, if you are busy with 10-hour workdays like me, doing hours of cardio isn't realistic. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat. Just focus on a calorie deficit, and do 20-30 minutes of brisk walking or climbing stairs at the office. You don't need fancy cardio sessions to see progress.

Cardio is great until you realize running for 30 minutes only burns off one gulab jamun! It definitely helps, but don't torture yourself on the treadmill if you hate it. Just find an activity you actually enjoy, like dancing or badminton, and keep your kitchen door closed after 8 PM.

Hey, don't stress too much about choosing between cardio and weights. Just do whatever gets you moving first! If you love cycling or walking, do that, but don't forget to eat your proteins and veggies. Weight loss is a slow journey, so take it easy on yourself, ok?

Look, let's be real. Cardio will burn calories while you are doing it, but if you don't control your diet, you can run all day and still not lose weight. Stop searching for shortcuts. Cut down the sugar, walk daily for 40 minutes, and be consistent for three months. That's the secret.
