Is carbohydrate good for weight loss?

I'm on a diet to lose weight, and everyone keeps telling me to cut out carbs completely. But I feel so weak and tired when I do. Is it true that carbohydrates are bad for weight loss, or are some carbs actually good?

I know how stressful it is to hear conflicting things about carbs. I used to be terrified of eating even a single chapati. But carbs are not your enemy, you just need to choose complex ones like oats and brown rice.

Don't starve yourself by cutting out carbs completely, okay? Your brain needs glucose to function properly. Just avoid refined carbs like maida and sugary drinks, and you will see good progress.

If I stop eating carbs, my family won't survive my mood swings! Jokes apart, complete keto is not possible for us Indians. I just reduced my rice portion by half and it is working slowly but surely.

Bro, carbs are essential if you are lifting weights. I lost 10 kgs while eating sweet potatoes and brown rice daily. Just calculate your daily calories and stay in a deficit.

I have high BP, and my doctor told me that extreme diets can put stress on the heart. It is better to have complex carbs with high fiber. Regular checkups and steady lifestyle changes are key.

Carbs give you the energy to exercise. If your health permits, try adding a 45-minute daily walk or some home workouts. Burning those carbs is much better than completely quitting them.

Giving up carbs is like giving up happiness. Just don't eat a mountain of biryani at midnight and you should be absolutely fine! Balance is everything.
