Is butter bad for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and everyone keeps telling me to avoid butter. I use it a little bit for cooking at home, and I'm confused if it's really that bad. Is butter bad for weight loss, or can I have it in moderation?

Butter is natural, but it is very high in calories, so you must use it sparingly if you want to lose weight. For general health, home-made white butter (makkhan) in limit is okay, but if you have high cholesterol or sudden weight gain, please consult a doctor instead of guessing.

In our younger days, we ate pure desi ghee and white butter daily and stayed fit because we walked miles. Today's lifestyle is different, so you cannot eat that much butter without active exercise. Don't worry, just reduce the portion and stay active every day.

Honestly, butter isn't 'bad' but it's super easy to overeat! One tablespoon has around 100 calories, which can ruin your deficit. I still eat a tiny bit on my multigrain toast sometimes, but I track it strictly so I don't go over my calorie limit.

Don't ignore your diet choices like I did. I kept consuming heavy fats thinking 'it's just butter' and ended up with a sluggish metabolism and fatty liver. Get a proper body checkup done first to see how your liver and heart are doing before starting any weight loss plan.

If you are trying to lose weight, replacing butter with a little olive oil or just eating boiled food works wonders. I tried using low-fat homemade dahi instead of butter on parathas and it helped me cut down so many calories. It is tough but small changes make a huge difference.
