Is burrata safe for pregnancy?

Currently, I'm expecting and trying to follow all dietary guidelines. My husband bought some burrata cheese, but I'm hesitant to eat it. Can you confirm if burrata is safe for pregnant women?

Burrata is generally safe if it's made from pasteurised milk, but you have to be very careful with soft cheeses in India. Honestly, it's always best to ask your gynaecologist before trying these gourmet items during pregnancy. They know your specific health conditions best.

During my pregnancy, I stuck strictly to fresh, home-cooked food and simple paneer. If you really want burrata, make sure the packaging clearly says pasteurised. Deep breathing and eating pure, simple foods kept my mind and body so calm during those months.

Managing my thyroid during health issues taught me that even small dietary changes need a doctor's nod. Pregnancy is a very sensitive time, so please consult your doc first. Also, keep getting your routine blood tests done on time to track everything.

My wife had insane cheese cravings when she was pregnant last year. We wanted to order burrata but our doctor said strictly no to unpasteurised soft cheese because of infection risks. We checked the labels online and only bought trusted brands that mentioned pasteurisation.

As someone who has to watch every single bite because of sugar, I always check ingredients. If you eat burrata, ensure it is pasteurised to avoid any foodborne issues. But don't overdo it as it has high fat content which might affect digestion.

In our times, we ate simple home-cooked food during pregnancy and everything went smoothly. Don't worry too much about these fancy cheeses, just focus on clean, hygienic meals. If you really feel like eating it, just ensure it is from a highly hygienic place and is pasteurised.
