Is bio oil safe during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and starting to get stretch marks. I heard bio oil is good for them, but I'm very careful about what I use during pregnancy. Is bio oil safe during pregnancy?

For something as delicate as pregnancy, please don't take chances. Just like with my high BP, I always consult my doctor before trying new things, even seemingly harmless ones. Bio-Oil is generally considered safe, but always get a green light from your gynecologist first. Better safe than sorry.

When I was pregnant and going to Lilavati Hospital, my doctor always stressed on asking about *everything* I wanted to use, even skincare. Bio-Oil is widely used for stretch marks during pregnancy, but every body is different. Always ask your OB-GYN directly to be absolutely sure for your specific case.

Look, with pregnancy, you can't trust random internet advice, not even from well-meaning people. My wife and I always verified everything with our doctor. Bio-Oil has some essential oils, so confirm with your gynaecologist if it's okay for *you*. Don't risk it for internet 'remedies'.

It's totally normal to feel anxious and double-check everything during pregnancy, especially with what you put on your body! Bio-Oil is generally considered safe and many women use it, but because it contains specific ingredients, it's always best to get a confirmation from your own doctor. That peace of mind is worth it.

Many pregnant women use Bio-Oil without issues for stretch marks. However, it's always safest to consult your doctor or midwife before using any new product during pregnancy.
