Is biking or walking better for weight loss?

I've been trying to reduce my weight, and my current routine includes daily walks. Someone at my gym mentioned that biking might be more effective. I'm wondering if biking or walking is better for weight loss.

From my experience, both work for weight loss, but it's about consistency and intensity. Biking, especially at a good pace, can burn more calories faster and is gentler on the knees. Walking is great for daily, low-impact movement. The best is the one you can stick with long-term. Try both and see what you enjoy more.

Both are effective for weight loss. Biking typically allows for higher intensity and thus more calorie burn in the same time, plus it's easier on the joints. Walking is excellent for beginners and daily activity. Pair either with a balanced diet for best results. It's more about sustained effort than choosing one over the other.

Honestly, the 'better' one is what you can do without injury. I ignored some knee stiffness and kept pushing myself, which made it worse. Biking is lower impact, so it might be safer if you have joint issues. But please, if you have any pain, get a checkup before deciding. Don't make my mistake.

Hmm, I think biking is cooler and you can cover more ground! For weight loss, it probably burns more calories if you go fast. But walking is chill, easy to do anywhere. Just pick whatever makes you move, honestly. Consistency is key, my prof always says!

It's totally understandable to feel a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out the best exercise! Both biking and walking are great for weight loss. Biking can be more intense, leading to faster calorie burn, while walking is gentler. The most important thing is to choose something you enjoy and can do consistently without causing any strain or injury. You'll find your rhythm!
