Is baby aspirin safe during pregnancy?

My gynaecologist suggested I take baby aspirin during my second trimester because of some risk factors. My mother is concerned about taking any aspirin while pregnant. Is baby aspirin truly safe during pregnancy?

Please do not take baby aspirin just because someone on the internet recommended it. Even though it is safe for certain conditions like preeclampsia prevention, only your doctor should decide if you actually need it.

Yes, baby aspirin is commonly prescribed for blood flow, but just like thyroid medication, it requires regular follow-ups. You must get your routine blood tests and scans done as scheduled by your doctor to monitor its effect.

Many expecting mothers in our family have been prescribed low-dose aspirin to ensure healthy blood circulation to the baby. It is a very standard and safe practice now, so do not stress yourself.

It is quite safe when prescribed by a doctor, usually starting from the second trimester. Just follow your obstetrician's advice regarding the dosage and timing.

I was so terrified when my doctor prescribed baby aspirin because I thought aspirin was unsafe during pregnancy. I cried thinking it might hurt my baby, but it actually helped prevent high blood pressure and everything turned out perfectly fine.

Baby aspirin, or low-dose aspirin, is widely prescribed to prevent preeclampsia and is absolutely safe when clinically indicated. Just make sure you are not taking regular high-dose aspirin by mistake.

My doctor put me on baby aspirin because of my gestational diabetes and high risk of preeclampsia. It is safe and very helpful, but make sure your doctor knows your complete medical history before you start it.
