How to use myrrh for weight loss?

My grandmother swears by myrrh for various health benefits, and I recently read it might assist with weight loss. I have some pure myrrh resin, but I'm not sure how to prepare or consume it safely for this purpose. Any traditional methods?

I was looking into alternative remedies and read about myrrh, but honestly, it made me very anxious because it can be quite toxic if you take too much. I wouldn't recommend swallowing myrrh oil or powder without talking to an ayurvedic doctor first. Please be very careful with these strong herbs.

I completely understand the desperation of wanting to try anything to lose weight, especially when you feel stuck. But myrrh is traditionally used for wounds and inflammation, not really for weight loss. Trying to ingest it can upset your stomach badly, so please don't take the risk.

Myrrh for weight loss sounds very risky, yaar. I actually checked with my nutritionist and she said there is zero scientific proof that it helps with burning fat. Better to stick to green tea or warm lemon water and spend your energy on a good workout instead.

Years ago, I tried taking random herbal resins like guggulu and myrrh for weight loss without checking with a doctor, and it completely messed up my liver enzymes. Please don't repeat my mistake. Go to a proper hospital, get your thyroid and lipid profile checked, and let a qualified doctor guide you.

Myrrh is not meant for weight loss and can be harmful if swallowed. Please consult a doctor before using it.
