How to use infinity hoop for weight loss?

I've been seeing a lot of reels about the 'infinity hoop' for weight loss. It looks interesting, but I'm not sure how effective it really is or how to use it properly to get results. Has anyone tried it and can share tips?

I totally get it, standard gym workouts can get so boring and we want something fun to stay active. The infinity hoop is great because it doesn't fall off like a normal hula hoop. Just start with 15 minutes a day while watching TV, it is a fun way to move!

I panicked when I first bought it because my waist was sore the next day and I thought I bruised myself. But it is completely normal when your core muscles work for the first time! Just wear a thick t-shirt and do it consistently, you'll love it.

I have been seeing these smart hoops all over social media but I am a bit shy to try them. Does it make a lot of noise while spinning? I don't want to disturb my roommates in the hostel, please let me know.

My teenage daughter bought this online to lose some weight. It's actually a very good active toy to keep them away from screens. I make sure she does it on a flat surface and doesn't overdo it, just 20 minutes a day is plenty for a good sweat.

I researched this a lot before buying one. When I asked my doctor about it, he said it's a decent low-impact cardio workout but warned me to be careful if I have any lower back or disc issues. He suggested starting slow and keeping my posture upright.
