How to use himalayan salt for weight loss?

My wife has been telling me to cut down on regular salt and use Himalayan salt instead for health benefits, especially for weight. How can I use it effectively for weight loss, and does it really make a big difference?

Honestly, don't fall for this gimmick. Himalayan salt is just salt with a fancy name and color. Adding it to water won't melt your fat, only a proper calorie deficit and daily walking will do that. Use it in food if you like the taste, but don't expect miracles.

Did anyone else feel super bloated after trying that morning salt water drink? I tried it for three days thinking it would cleanse my system but my feet started feeling swollen. Please let me know if this happened to you guys too or if I did something wrong.

I tried the whole pink salt in warm water routine last year during my weight loss journey. Trust me, it does nothing for actual fat loss. It only helps with hydration and electrolyte balance if you are working out heavily. Just stick to clean home food and a 45-minute daily walk, that's what actually worked for me.

I was also reading about this online and got so confused because some articles say it helps and some say it increases water retention. I always worry if drinking salt water might spike my blood pressure suddenly. Better to just use normal salt in moderation and check with a dietician once so you don't take any risks.

I totally get it, when we are trying to lose weight we want to try every simple thing that might help. But please don't stress yourself with these salt water trends. Just focus on eating healthy home-cooked meals and sleeping well, everything else is just extra noise.
