How to use alsi for weight loss?

My mother suggested using alsi (flax seeds) for weight loss, saying it's very healthy. I have a packet at home, but I'm not sure how to consume it properly to get the benefits. Should I roast it, soak it, or just add it to food?

I totally get it, trying to find natural ways to help with weight loss is so common. For alsi (flaxseeds), many people roast them lightly and then grind them into a powder. You can sprinkle this powder on your rotis, dahi, salads, or even mix it into water. It's high in fiber and omega-3s, which can make you feel full.

I can only share my personal experience, not medical advice. I started adding ground flaxseeds to my morning oatmeal or sometimes a spoonful into my smoothie. It's supposed to be good for digestion and makes you feel satisfied longer. I felt it helped me reduce snacking, but I also made other dietary changes.

For something like weight loss, especially using specific seeds or supplements, it's really important to talk to your doctor or a nutritionist. I always consult the doctors at Apollo Hospital before trying anything new. They can guide you on the right dosage and how it might interact with your body. Alsi is good, but how *you* should use it needs clear advice.

Alsi, the unsung hero of healthy eating! My mom swears by it. She roasts it, grinds it, and then adds it to literally EVERYTHING. Dahi, daal, even sometimes in aata for roti. It's like a fiber bomb, makes you full so you don't raid the fridge at 2 AM looking for leftover biryani. Just don't go overboard, or you'll be spending more time in the washroom than the gym, haha!

As someone with PCOS, managing weight is a constant struggle. Alsi can be helpful due to its fiber and lignans, which might help with hormone balance too. I usually add a tablespoon of freshly ground alsi to my yogurt or a glass of water daily. It's not a magic bullet, but it's a good supplement. Still, a balanced diet and checking with your doctor are always best.

Ooh, alsi! It’s actually quite versatile. I love to roast it lightly until it's fragrant, then grind it coarse. You can sprinkle it over your morning oats, mix it into your atta for whole wheat bread, or even make a quick chutney with it. It adds a nice nutty crunch and helps you feel full, so you’re less likely to reach for those unhealthy snacks. Yum!
