How to treat migraines in early pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant, but I've been getting these terrible migraines already. I'm really scared to take any medicine. What's the best and safest way to treat migraines in early pregnancy?

Early pregnancy migraines are highly common due to massive hormonal surges. Do not take standard over-the-counter painkillers as they can be unsafe for the fetus. Consult your obstetrician immediately for safe alternative options.

Yaar, early pregnancy is so delicate and these headaches actually make it worse. I used to apply a cold compress to my neck and forehead to get some relief. Just don't pop any random medicines without asking your doctor first, please.

I tried everything from sniffing lavender oil to acupressure when I had migraines in my first trimester. While gentle head massages with coconut oil gave temporary comfort, getting enough sleep was the real cure. Always discuss any persistent pain with your gynecologist.

My wife found that doing very light stretching and taking slow evening walks helped improve her circulation and reduced the severity of her early pregnancy headaches. Proper nutrition with small, frequent meals also prevents low blood sugar triggers.

Using a hydration tracker app was a lifesaver for me during my first trimester. Dehydration triggers pregnancy migraines quickly, so make sure you are drinking at least 2.5 liters of water daily. Track your triggers to manage them better.

I completely understand what you are going through, the first trimester is already so exhausting with nausea, and migraines make it so much harder. Try resting in a dark, quiet room and sipping ginger tea. This phase will pass soon, take care!

I am also experiencing this in my eighth week and it's quite scary. Is it safe to use a hot water bottle on the shoulders for relief? I would love to know what your doctors suggested for early pregnancy head pain.
