How to tell if you have liver damage from alcohol?

I've been drinking heavily for many years, and lately I've noticed my skin looks a bit yellowish, and I feel constantly tired. I'm concerned about liver damage. What are the specific signs that my liver might be affected by alcohol?

In our old age, we have seen many young lives affected because of heavy drinking habits. While eating fresh papaya and drinking warm water can support general digestion, they cannot heal liver damage from alcohol. Please leave the alcohol completely and consult a proper medical doctor for your liver health.

Our body is a sacred gift, and we must care for it with pure habits. If you suspect any health issues due to past habits, do not lose hope or live in guilt. Stay positive, stop the intake of harmful things completely, and visit a doctor to get your liver checked and healed.

I was reading about alcoholic liver disease and it seems the early stages, like fatty liver, often have zero obvious signs. If someone continues drinking, they might get jaundice, fluid buildup in the belly, or extreme confusion. A Liver Function Test (LFT) and an ultrasound are the standard ways to check the actual damage.

If your liver could speak, it would probably ask for a voluntary retirement after all those weekend parties! Seriously, if you are getting dark urine, nausea, or a heavy feeling under your ribs, it's time to pause the drinks. Get an LFT done so you know exactly how much damage control you need to do.

While home remedies like buttermilk and amla are good for daily digestion, they cannot repair alcoholic liver damage. If you have been a regular drinker and feel constantly weak or have abdominal pain, please go to a clinic. A doctor's diagnosis through proper blood tests is the only safe way.

I ignored my persistent fatigue and loss of appetite while continuing my social drinking, and it led to severe liver enzymes spike and hospital stay. If you are experiencing yellowing of eyes, dark urine, or swelling in your legs, please stop drinking immediately and see a gastroenterologist.
