How to take spirulina for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and someone recommended spirulina. I'm not sure how to best incorporate it into my diet for weight loss. Should I take it as pills, powder, and when is the best time?

Hey! Don't stress too much about finding a magic weight loss pill. If you want to try spirulina, just mix a teaspoon of the powder into your morning green smoothie or take a capsule with water before lunch. It has a super strong algae taste, so tablets are much easier, trust me!

Spirulina is a nutrient-dense blue-green alga that can support overall health, but there is no strong clinical evidence that it directly causes weight loss. It is always best to consult a certified clinical dietitian to design a structured calorie-deficit plan instead of relying on supplements.

Please get your thyroid and complete blood counts checked before starting spirulina. I once started taking self-prescribed green supplements for weight loss, ignoring my constant fatigue, only to find out later I had severe anemia and thyroid issues. Don't ignore real symptoms.

When I asked my specialist at Manipal Hospital about spirulina, he advised me to be cautious because some brands contain heavy metal contamination. He told me to stick to a balanced diet and regular walks instead. Please ask your doctor clearly before buying any brand.

I agree that tablets are much better because the raw powder tastes very muddy. Take it with lunch to help control appetite.
