How to regain muscle after weight loss?

I recently lost a good amount of weight, which I'm happy about, but I feel like I've lost a lot of muscle too. I look thinner but not as toned as I'd like. What's the best way to regain that muscle?

Same thing happened to me after I lost a lot of weight quickly. I focused on progressive overload in my strength training. Also, increasing protein intake, like chicken, paneer, and dal, at every meal really made a difference. Consistency is key!

Yay, good for you for losing weight! 🎉 To get that muscle back, definitely hit the gym with some weights. Don't be afraid to lift a little heavy. And protein, protein, protein! 💪 Eat well and sleep well too. You'll be back in shape soon!

While general advice is good, it's always safest to consult a doctor or a certified nutritionist/trainer, especially if you had significant weight loss. They can assess your specific needs and create a plan that's safe and effective for you. Don't just follow random online tips.

My son went through this too. We made sure he ate home-cooked meals with plenty of protein – lots of dal, chicken curry, eggs for breakfast. He also joined a gym with a good trainer who guided him with weight training. Be patient and consistent with both diet and exercise.

Hey! Don't stress too much about it. It's totally normal to lose some muscle. Just focus on a good, consistent workout routine, especially weight training. And make sure you're eating enough protein after your workouts. You'll bounce back, trust me!

Oh, I'm also trying to figure this out. I lost a lot of weight but feel weaker now. So, just lifting weights is enough? Do I need to eat specific things right after my workout too?

My doctor explained that after significant weight loss, especially rapid, some muscle loss is common. They recommended a structured strength training program, focusing on compound movements. Also, ensuring adequate protein intake (around 1.6-2.2g per kg of body weight) and consuming enough calories to support muscle growth is vital. Don't forget proper rest!

Yaar, muscle loss is normal after cutting weight. Actually, the best way is proper strength training. Lift weights, make sure you're eating enough protein, like chicken, eggs, paneer. Aur haan, consistency bahut important hai. Don't rush it.
