Dental pain usually indicates an underlying infection, decay, or nerve issue that home remedies cannot fix permanently. While warm rinses or a clove can help ease the discomfort for a few hours, please visit a dentist as soon as possible. Delaying it can lead to more complex treatments later.

Oh god, tooth pain is literally the absolute worst, I couldn't even sleep last month because of it. What helped me temporarily was rinsing my mouth with warm saltwater. It really soothes the gums, but please do book a dentist appointment soon.

In our family, we have always kept a single clove or a drop of clove oil on a small cotton ball near the aching tooth. It has a natural numbing effect that helps you rest. But remember, this is only to get through the night, you must show it to a proper doctor.

Look, keeping cloves in your mouth will only hide the pain for a day or two. If there is a cavity or swelling, only a dentist can clean it and give you the right medicine. Go get a checkup done before the pain becomes unbearable.

I get so anxious whenever my tooth starts hurting, thinking I will need a major root canal or surgery right away. If you are feeling worried, just try a warm saltwater rinse to calm the area down. Definitely go to the clinic so they can take an X-ray and reassure you.

I have tried everything from garlic paste to ginger juice, but honestly, nothing beats a proper dental cleaning or filling when there is decay. Home remedies are good only for a few hours of relief. Save yourself the trouble and schedule a professional dental visit.

Hey, don't stress too much, dental pain is super common and easily treatable. Just avoid chewing anything hard or hot from that side of your mouth for now. Try a cold compress on your cheek to keep the swelling down until you see the doctor tomorrow.

As someone managing diabetes, I know that dental infections can quickly affect blood sugar levels, and high sugars can also delay healing. Don't rely on sweet syrups or cough drops for relief. Get it checked by a dentist immediately to avoid any complications.

Agree with everyone here. Applying a cold ice pack on the outside of your jaw really helps reduce the throbbing pain until you can reach the clinic.

While your tooth is hurting, stick to very soft, simple vegetarian foods like warm khichdi, curd rice, or mashed bananas. Avoid anything very cold, spicy, or sweet, as temperature extremes can trigger sharp, shooting pain in the nerves.
