My husband and I are planning to start a family soon, hopefully within the next six months. We want to make sure I'm as healthy as possible before conceiving. What should I do to prepare my body?

Having been through this twice, my best advice is to start taking folic acid at least 3 months before you plan to conceive. Also, get a full health check-up with your gynaecologist, discuss your diet, and try to manage stress. Light exercise helps too!
This is so important! If you have any existing health conditions like diabetes, it's absolutely crucial to get your blood sugars under control *before* conception. See your doctor, optimize your diet, and maintain a healthy weight. These steps are vital for a healthy pregnancy.
Folic acid and a pre-conception check-up are essential. Good luck!
Prepare for pregnancy, eh? Well, getting enough sleep would be a good start, which is something I haven't done in years. But seriously, eat good food, manage stress (good luck with that one!), and definitely talk to a doctor. It's a big journey!
Start by taking a folic acid supplement everyday, that's non-negotiable. Then, cut down on junk food, get some walks in daily, and most importantly, visit your gynaecologist for a pre-conception check-up to ensure everything is okay. Simple steps, big impact.

In our culture, elders always say to eat healthy and be peaceful. But for pregnancy, I would definitely advise seeing a doctor. Get all your tests done, start folic acid, and talk to them about any concerns. They will give the best medical advice for your body.
