How to make oatmeal for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and heard oatmeal is good for it. But I'm not sure how to prepare it so it's actually effective for weight loss. Can anyone share some good recipes?

Yaar, actually don't add sugar or honey at all if you want to lose weight. Just boil it in water or skimmed milk, and add some almonds and apple slices for sweetness.

I tried masala oats first but the store-bought ones have too much sodium. Now I cook plain rolled oats with water, add a pinch of turmeric and some sautéed vegetables, it is very filling.

I prepare steel-cut oats for my daughter who is trying to stay fit. I cook them slowly in water, add some chia seeds and a small portion of pomegranate seeds on top.

Oats are great for slow-release carbs before your workout. I take rolled oats with water, scoop of protein powder, and half a banana to fuel my morning runs.

Don't buy those expensive instant oatmeal packets which have hidden sugars. Buy loose rolled oats from the local store, cook them with water and a pinch of salt, it is super cheap and healthy.

I just lost 4 kgs over the last few months by replacing my heavy breakfast with plain oats. I cook them with water, add a spoonful of curd and some chopped cucumber and coriander.
