How to lose stretch marks after weight loss?

I've successfully lost a lot of weight, which is great, but now I have stretch marks that are very visible. I want to know how to reduce their appearance. Are there any creams or natural remedies that can help?

While diet doesn't directly remove stretch marks, eating foods rich in Vitamin C, E, and Zinc can support skin elasticity and repair. Think citrus, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds. It's about skin health from within. But for existing marks, topical treatments or procedures are usually needed.

Lose stretch marks? Haha, I wish! Mine are like permanent tattoos now. I just tell myself they're battle scars from life. Maybe if I ever get enough sleep, my skin will magically heal itself? Jokes aside, good lotions might help a little with the appearance, but they won't vanish completely.

Honestly, it's tough to make them completely disappear, especially after significant weight loss. I just accepted mine as part of the journey. If you're serious, look into laser treatments or microneedling, but they can be expensive and take time. Regular moisturizing helps with texture though.

I've been reading about this too, not for myself but just generally curious. It seems like a mix of genetics and how fast you gained/lost weight plays a big role. Most articles say creams only help a bit, and professional treatments like lasers are the most effective for actual reduction. It's a common thing though, so no need to stress too much.

Stretch marks are basically scars from skin stretching. You can't really 'lose' them with exercise. Regular gym, especially building muscle, can fill out the skin a bit, making them less noticeable. But it's more about improving skin elasticity through diet, hydration, and specific dermatological treatments if you want significant reduction.

Oh god, stretch marks! I have some too from growing super fast. My friends say like, bio-oil and tons of moisturizer help, but honestly, they don't go away fully. It's kinda normal, no? Just embrace them, yaar. Unless they're really bothering you, then maybe see a skin doc.

From a practical standpoint, stretch marks are tough to completely eliminate. OTC creams with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or retinoids can improve their appearance, especially if the marks are new. For older, more prominent ones, professional treatments like laser resurfacing or microdermabrasion done by a dermatologist would be more effective. Always do a patch test first!

Some people find that rubbing potato juice or aloe vera gel can help lighten stretch marks over time, because of their natural healing properties. Massaging with coconut oil or olive oil also keeps skin moisturized. But if they're very deep or bothering you a lot, a dermatologist can suggest stronger treatments like retinoids or lasers.
