How to help swollen feet pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and my feet have become so swollen lately, it's getting difficult to even walk comfortably. My doctor said it's common, but I'm looking for practical tips to help reduce the swelling at home. Any advice?

This is a phase of sweet anticipation, so do not let minor physical discomforts disturb your inner peace. Rest your feet well on soft pillows, take slow deep breaths, and let your family pamper you a little. Take care.

I just delivered my baby last month and my feet were like blocks. Honestly, soaking them in warm water with some Epsom salt for 10 minutes every evening was a lifesaver. Also, avoid sitting with crossed legs as it blocks circulation.

Hey, don't worry too much, this is a very common part of the journey. Just make sure you are not sitting or standing in one position for too long. Put your feet up on a stool whenever you can, and make sure you're wearing super comfortable shoes.

When my daughter was pregnant, she had the same trouble. I used to make sure she drank at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily because dehydration actually makes the body retain more fluid. It helped her feet feel much lighter.

No need to buy fancy foot massagers. Just ask your husband to gently massage your feet in an upward direction towards the knees. Combine that with elevating your legs on two regular bed pillows while sleeping, and you will see a big difference.

I hope you are keeping an eye on your blood pressure because sudden, heavy swelling can be really risky in pregnancy. Please call your doctor if the swelling is also in your hands and face, just to be absolutely sure everything is fine. Take care!
