How to get percentage of weight loss?

I've lost some weight and want to keep track of my progress accurately. How do you calculate the actual percentage of weight loss? Is there a simple formula or app to use?

It is very simple, beta. Just divide the weight you have lost by your starting weight, and then multiply that number by hundred. God bless you on your health journey.

Just take your lost weight, divide it by what you started with, and multiply by 100. So if you lost 5kg starting at 80kg, that's 5/80 x 100 which is 6.25% lost.

Calculating percentage is good, but make sure your blood pressure levels are also improving. Keep doing regular checkups along with monitoring your weight loss journey.

The formula is (Weight Lost / Starting Weight) x 100. While tracking this is useful, consulting a doctor to ensure you are losing fat and not muscle mass is important.

Yes, just divide the lost weight by your starting weight and multiply by 100. Great job on tracking your progress!
