How to gain weight in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and my doctor mentioned that I need to gain a bit more weight for a healthy pregnancy. I'm trying to eat well, but sometimes I feel full quickly. What are some good, healthy ways to gain weight during pregnancy?

During my pregnancy, I actually lost a little weight in the first trimester because of all the nausea, but my doctor said it was okay. I just focused on eating small, frequent meals that were nutritious, not just empty calories. It picked up naturally in the second trimester.

Oh, this is so common! My sister went through this. For her, having dry fruits and nuts as snacks helped a lot. Also, she made a lot of smoothies with milk, banana, and a spoon of ghee. And remember, listen to your body, thoda-thoda khao.

Hey there! Don't stress too much about the numbers right away. Focus on nutrient-dense foods rather than just 'eating more'. Things like paneer, dahi, and whole grains worked for my cousin. And hydration is super important too, drink lots of water and fresh juices.

Beti, ghar pe banaya hua khana sabse accha hota hai. Daal chawal, roti sabzi, aur doodh ghee ke saath. Meri bahu bhi thodi kamjor thi, usko humne subah ek glass doodh aur ek kela diya tha. Doctor se bhi pooch lena, woh sahi salah denge.

I totally get how you feel. I was so worried because I wasn't gaining much, and everyone had an opinion. It felt like I was failing. But honestly, as long as your doctor says baby is growing well, try not to let it consume you. Small, frequent meals were key for me.

Yo! Pregnancy weight gain is such a roller coaster, right? My sister used to snack on a lot of nuts and seeds, like almonds and walnuts. Also, she found that having a small meal right before bed helped her a bit. But yeah, doc's advice is always first.
