How to find my macros for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and my gym trainer mentioned tracking macros. I have no idea how to calculate them properly for myself. Can someone guide me on how to find my ideal macros for weight loss?

I'm new to this whole macro thing. So for weight loss, should I be eating less carbs, or more protein? And how do I even know how many grams of each to have? Is there an easy way to figure it out without a fancy app?

Macros for weight loss, eh? I just try to eat a bit more protein to feel full and keep those cravings away, you know? And cut down on extra fats and carbs. Honestly, I don't calculate precisely, just focus on balanced meals and maybe one small treat a day. Life's too short to miss out on good food!

Haan, macros ke liye bahut saari online calculators hain na. You put your height, weight, age, and activity level. They'll give you a starting point. Phir you can adjust protein, carbs, fats according to your body's response. For weight loss, thoda protein high rakhte hain, generally.

Beta, for weight loss, instead of counting every little thing, focus on balanced home-cooked meals. Eat plenty of dal, sabzi, roti. Cut down on fried foods and sweets. A good intake of protein and fiber will keep you full. Some traditional remedies like ajwain water might also aid digestion, but consult your doctor for weight issues.

Looking back, trying to figure out macros used to confuse me so much! But honestly, a simple way is to divide your plate: half veggies, a quarter protein (like dal, paneer, chicken), and a quarter complex carbs (roti, rice). For weight loss, focus on increasing protein a bit. It helps keep you satisfied. Don't overcomplicate it, just be consistent.

This macro counting thing is interesting! I've seen some fitness influencers talk about it. I guess you first calculate your maintenance calories, then subtract some for a deficit. And then divide those calories into protein, carbs, and fats, usually aiming for higher protein for weight loss. Still researching how exact it needs to be.

For practical weight loss, you don't need to be super precise with macros everyday. Start with reducing processed foods, sugary drinks, and oil. Increase your protein intake with foods like paneer, dal, eggs, and chicken. Eat plenty of vegetables. This simple approach often works better than complex calculations for most people. A dietitian can give exact numbers if you need.
