How to figure out macros for weight loss female?

As a woman, I'm trying to lose weight and my trainer suggested I should track my macros. Is there a different way to calculate macros for weight loss specifically for females, or is it the same for everyone?

My sister calculated her macros for weight loss. She used an app that suggested a split like 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fats. But it depends on her activity level, man. She also said it's better to get a professional dietician's advice for exact numbers, especially for women.

For ladies, it's generally about more protein to keep you full, and good carbs from rotis/rice in moderation. Healthy fats from ghee or nuts are important. Don't go very low on carbs, warna weakness aa jati hai. The simple rule is balanced home food, less oil, and daily movement. No need for complicated counting if you eat mindfully.

Be very careful when calculating macros, especially for females, as hormonal balance is delicate. I once tried a very low-carb diet that messed up my cycle and energy levels. It's crucial to consult a gynaecologist or a registered dietician who understands female physiology before making drastic changes. Don't risk your health.

As a woman managing diabetes, I can tell you that for weight loss, the type of carbs and overall sugar intake is more critical than just macro percentages. Focus on complex carbs, plenty of fiber, and consistent protein. A dietician specializing in diabetes and female health would be your best resource for accurate macro calculation.

Yaar, for women, it's all about finding that balance. My wife tried different macro splits. She actually found that a slightly higher protein intake helped her feel full and sustained. And not to cut fats completely, especially healthy ones like avocado or nuts, they're important for hormones. But best to check with a doc or nutritionist na.

This whole macro thing makes me so nervous! Like, what if I get it wrong and mess up my hormones or something? Does anyone else feel like there's too much pressure to get it perfect? I just want to lose weight safely. What's a good, easy starting point that won't make me stressed?

Didi, for weight loss, most women need to prioritize protein. It helps with satiety and muscle. Then, focus on good quality carbs like whole grains and lots of vegetables. Healthy fats are also important. Don't complicate it too much initially. Find an online calculator for a rough estimate, then track and adjust. Simple.
