How to figure of weight loss?

I've been trying to lose weight for a while, but I feel like I'm just guessing what works. How do people really figure out what's effective for weight loss? Is there a scientific approach or something?

I found that simply eating home-cooked food, cutting out all sugary drinks, and going for a brisk walk daily helped me lose some kilos. I didn't get into complex calculations, just tried to be consistent. Every body is different, so what worked for me might not for you, just sharing.

Weight loss primarily comes down to consuming fewer calories than you burn. Start by calculating your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) online, then factor in your activity level to get an estimated daily calorie expenditure. Aim for a deficit of 300-500 calories. Prioritize protein and fiber to stay full.

Usually, reducing portion sizes, avoiding junk, and drinking plenty of water are good starting points. Also, a bit of daily activity like walking. If you're really struggling or have other health issues, it's always best to see a doctor or a nutritionist. Home tips are good for general well-being, but not a substitute for medical advice.

It's about finding what works for your body and making sustainable changes. Don't look for quick fixes. Focus on healthy eating, regular movement, and good sleep. You'll figure it out, just keep trying.

Oh, I totally get it, it can feel like a big mystery sometimes, right? But honestly, the most important thing is consistency. Small, steady changes to your diet and some daily activity usually lead to good results over time. Don't get discouraged!

In my time, we just ate simple food, walked a lot, and didn't have so much junk. It's a natural process if you give your body good food and movement. Don't worry too much about complicated formulas. Be patient with yourself.
