How to do the carnivore diet for weight loss?

I've been hearing a lot about the carnivore diet for weight loss and apparently it has great results. I'm interested in trying it out, but it seems very restrictive. Can someone explain how to do the carnivore diet for weight loss safely and what foods are allowed?

I see a lot of interest in the carnivore diet lately, but please remember it is highly restrictive as you only eat meat, fish, and eggs. While some people see quick weight loss, it can be very tough on your digestive system. It is best to transition slowly rather than stopping all carbs overnight.

Eating only high-quality meat and fish in India is extremely expensive to sustain daily. Plus, you must budget for regular lipid profile tests because eating so much saturated fat can impact your cholesterol levels significantly.

Beta, our traditional Indian diet has always emphasized a balance of grains, lentils, and vegetables. Eating only meat goes against the natural balance of the body and can create too much heat. If you do try it, make sure you drink plenty of buttermilk to cool your stomach.

I tried the carnivore diet for three weeks and ended up with severe constipation and incredibly high uric acid levels. Please consult a qualified doctor or gastroenterologist before cutting out all fiber and vegetables from your diet.

I totally get it, wanting to try something drastic when you are desperate to lose weight is very natural. But please be gentle with your body; eating only meat can feel very monotonous and might make you feel socially isolated during family meals.

Carnivore diet will give you high protein, which is great for muscle retention, but you might miss the quick energy from carbs during heavy workouts. Ensure you are lifting weights and tracking your energy levels closely so you don't lose strength.

Do not follow these extreme dietary trends blindly from social media. A zero-carb, meat-only diet can have serious long-term implications for your kidney health and cardiovascular system. Always verify with a medical professional and get a full blood panel done first.

I have been on a carnivore-adjacent diet for six months now. The first week is tough with the 'keto flu', so you must consume enough salt and electrolytes. Stick to mutton, chicken with skin, and eggs, and make sure you do not starve yourself.

With my PCOS, I am always careful about extreme diets. While low carb helps with insulin resistance, cutting out all plants completely might affect your gut microbiome and hormone levels. It is safer to talk to an endocrinologist first.

I have been reading a lot of threads about this online, and it seems so intense. How do people manage to survive without even a single roti or some rice? I am really curious if this is actually sustainable for typical Indian households.
