I used to feel so guilty about eating carbs when trying to lose weight, and it was emotionally exhausting. But boiling or roasting sweet potato with just a pinch of salt actually kept me full and happy. It is okay to eat comforting healthy carbs, please don't starve yourself.

Look, simple is best. Just boil them in a pressure cooker, peel the skin, and eat them with some black pepper and lemon. Don't go frying them or adding heavy cream and butter, otherwise the whole point of weight loss is lost.

From a practical health perspective, sweet potatoes are rich in fiber which is great for digestion and weight loss. I suggest baking them in slices or steaming them to keep the nutrients intact. Just don't overdo the portion size as they are still calorie-dense.

I am no diet expert, but in my own weight loss journey, I found that roasting sweet potato cubes in an air fryer with a spray of olive oil worked wonders. It satisfies my mid-day cravings perfectly without messing up my calorie goals.

We don't need fancy ovens for this. Just steam them in your regular idli vessel or boil them, then cut into small pieces and add a bit of chaat masala. It is a very cheap, filling, and healthy evening snack for the whole family.

I absolutely love sweet potatoes! I just bake them with a tiny bit of olive oil, oregano, and chili flakes, and they taste like healthy fries. It is such a comforting and easy snack to make when you are busy with work.
