How to cook oatmeal for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I heard oatmeal is good for it. I usually just add milk and sugar. How can I prepare oatmeal in a way that helps with weight loss, maybe without too much sugar or other additives?

Boil oats in plain water and add a pinch of cinnamon. Avoid adding sugar or honey if you want real weight loss.

Honestly, I don't have the energy to cook in the morning. I just put oats and water in the microwave for 2 minutes, throw in a few almonds, and gulp it down. It is boring but it works and keeps me full.

Does anyone else feel super bloated after eating oats? I cook them in water, but my stomach feels so heavy. I wonder if I am cooking them wrong or if oats just don't suit everyone.

Cooking oats with water and a pinch of turmeric, ginger, and cumin is very good for the metabolism. However, if your weight gain is sudden or due to underlying issues like thyroid, please consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.

I was researching this and found that steel-cut oats are much better for weight loss than instant oats because they have a lower glycemic index. They take longer to cook, but they keep you full for hours.

Oatmeal is healthy, but if you are planning a drastic weight loss diet, please consult a certified dietician first. It is important to make sure your body is still getting all the vital nutrients safely.

In our old days, we ate broken wheat daliya, which is just like oats. Cook your oats with a little skimmed milk, cardamon powder, and add a few chopped almonds for natural sweetness instead of sugar.
