How to control blood sugar for weight loss?

My doctor said my blood sugar is a bit high and I need to lose weight. I'm struggling with both, and I'm not sure if controlling blood sugar will help with weight loss, or vice versa. What's the best approach here?

I ignored my constant thirst and fatigue for months, thinking it was just work stress, until my HbA1c reached a dangerous 9. Please go get a proper fasting blood sugar test done before trying to self-manage your weight.

To control blood sugar, always eat your vegetables and proteins first before touching your rice or roti. This simple food sequencing prevents sudden glucose spikes and naturally keeps you full for longer.

Managing insulin resistance is key to losing weight with PCOS, which I have been doing for years. I focus on low-glycemic foods and never skip meals, but I always suggest consulting your gynecologist for a personalized plan.

I also struggled with sugar crashes that made me crave sweets constantly. Swapping my morning sugary tea for normal green tea or warm lemon water helped stabilize my energy levels completely.

Giving up sweets is so hard when you love eating! I started eating a small bowl of roasted chana whenever I get those late-night sweet cravings, and honestly, it really helps keep the blood sugar stable.

My elders suggested drinking bitter gourd juice to manage sugar, but I prefer to trust my doctor's advice. He recommended a balanced diet with portion control and regular walking, which has worked safely for me.
