How to beat a weight loss plateau?

I've been working out regularly and eating well, and for a few months, I saw great progress in my weight loss. But now, for the past two weeks, the scale hasn't moved at all. How do you break through a weight loss plateau?

Plateaus are so frustrating, I've been there! I tried shaking up my routine - sometimes eating a bit more for a day or two (a 'refeed'), or switching my exercise type completely. Also, tracking my intake more strictly helped identify hidden calories. Consistency is tough but key.

Weight loss plateau? Ugh, my life is a plateau when it comes to sleep, so I totally get it. Maybe try sleeping more? My trainer always says good sleep helps metabolism. Or maybe my body is just used to my half-hearted attempts at exercise, haha!

It's so disheartening when you're putting in effort and the scale doesn't move. Don't let it get to you emotionally! It's a very common part of the journey. Try not to compare your progress to others. Focus on small adjustments and remember why you started.

Sometimes, when the body gets stressed, it holds onto weight. Gentle yoga and deep breathing (pranayama) can help reduce stress hormones, which might be contributing to the plateau. It's not a quick fix, but it supports your body's natural balance. Also, ensure adequate rest.

When my weight loss stalled, I just changed my dinner time. Started eating earlier, by 7-7:30 pm. And I added an extra 15 minutes to my evening walk. Sometimes these small, simple changes make a big difference without needing any fancy diets or gyms. Thoda patience rakho.

Plateaus can be a sign that your body needs a different approach. If you have any underlying conditions like high BP, it's crucial to consult your doctor. They might suggest a different diet plan or exercise intensity. Don't forget regular checkups are key to healthy weight management.

To break a plateau, you usually need to shock your body a bit. Either slightly increase your caloric intake for a day (a 'refeed') to boost metabolism, or change up your workout routine entirely. Maybe try heavier weights or a new cardio style. Also, re-evaluate your portion sizes, sometimes we get complacent.
