How to avoid weight gain during thanksgiving?

My family celebrates Thanksgiving (we have some relatives abroad), and it involves a lot of rich food. I want to enjoy the festivities but also avoid putting on too much weight during that period. Any tips on how to manage this?

Hey! For Thanksgiving, I always pre-plan my meals with MyFitnessPal. Helps me track what I'm eating. Also, try to squeeze in a quick workout in the morning before all the feasting starts. Small things can make a big difference!

Oh God, this is my biggest worry every festive season! I always feel like I'll undo all my progress. Maybe just try to focus on smaller portions and lots of water? Don't stress too much though, a little indulgence is okay sometimes.

Honestly, I used to panic about this too! Every festival, I'd stress about gaining weight. But you know what? A day or two of good food won't ruin everything. Just get back to your routine the next day, and it balances out. Relax and enjoy!

Thanksgiving is one day, yaar. Don't go searching for some 'detox' or 'miracle diet' online. Just eat in moderation, and if you have any serious concerns about weight or health, please talk to your doctor. They know best, not some random articles.

Look, it's Thanksgiving, meant to be enjoyed with family. Don't beat yourself up over food. Just be mindful, maybe have some extra veggies, and don't overeat till you're uncomfortable. One meal won't make or break your health journey, just try to be active before or after.
