How to avoid constipation during weight loss?

I've been on a new diet to lose weight, and it's working, but I've started facing a lot of constipation. It's really uncomfortable and making me reconsider my diet plan. Is there any way to prevent this while still losing weight?

I ignored constipation during my weight loss journey, thinking it was normal. It got pretty bad and uncomfortable. Please don't do that. Make sure you're getting enough fiber and water. If it persists, talk to your doctor, don't let it become a bigger issue.

Ugh, yes, this happens! When you're trying to eat less, sometimes you also eat less fiber. Make sure you're having enough salads, whole fruits, and oats. And don't forget water! I carry a big bottle with me always. Light exercise also helps keep things moving.

Constipation is super common during weight loss because people often cut carbs or don't eat enough fiber. My advice? Drink a LOT of water, seriously, more than you think. And increase your fiber intake gradually with fruits, veggies, and whole grains. A spoonful of chia seeds in water overnight also works wonders for me.

When the body is undergoing change, gentle support is needed. Along with proper hydration and fiber-rich foods, simple yoga asanas like Pawanmuktasana (wind-relieving pose) and some gentle twists can aid digestion and alleviate constipation. Mindful eating also helps the system.

Oh, this is annoying! I'm trying to lose weight too and sometimes it feels like my system just stops. I find that a big glass of warm water first thing in the morning really helps. And trying to add a small bowl of dal or sabzi with every meal for fiber.

Beta, for constipation, our grandmothers always said to drink warm water and eat fruits like papaya. Isabgol is also very good, but use it with plenty of water. If you are reducing food, make sure your body still gets enough fiber from vegetables. But if it persists, show a doctor.
