How to avoid baby vomiting after feeding?

My newborn baby often vomits a little bit after feeding, and sometimes it's quite a lot. I get really concerned if he's getting enough milk. Is there anything I can do to help him avoid vomiting so much after his feeds?

For new borns, sometimes it's just reflux, which is common. Try burping them properly after every feed, and keep them upright for a bit. My dadi used to say thoda sa ajwain ka pani bhi de sakte hain if baby is a bit older, but definitely ask your pediatrician first if it's too much or very frequent.

See, with babies, everything is delicate. Vomiting could be simple or something needing attention. Just like with my BP, regular checkups are key. Don't self-diagnose, especially with a baby. Get it checked by their doctor, better safe than sorry.

Oh, mere saath bhi same hua tha! I panicked like anything when my baby used to spit up so much. Thought something was seriously wrong. But the doc said it's often just 'posseting' (spitting up a little milk) and completely normal. Just keep an eye on their weight gain and overall well-being.

It's common for infants to spit up milk, it's called reflux. However, if the vomiting is forceful, frequent, or if the baby is not gaining weight, appears distressed, or shows signs of dehydration, please consult a pediatrician immediately. Online advice can only go so far; a doctor's diagnosis is always best for a baby.

This is exactly what I'm worried about! My cousin's baby also used to vomit a lot and I keep thinking about it for my future baby. Does it look scary when it happens? Like, how much is 'normal' vomiting? Anyone else feel this anxious?
