How to avoid acid reflux in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and the acid reflux has become really bad, especially at night. It's making it hard to sleep and eat comfortably. Are there any safe and natural ways to avoid or reduce this acidity during pregnancy?

Oh my god, I'm pregnant and the acid reflux is killing me! It's so uncomfortable, especially at night. Has anyone tried sleeping propped up? Does it actually help? I'm worried about eating anything spicy or even slightly rich now.

Elevate your head while sleeping, eat smaller meals, and avoid trigger foods like spicy, fatty, or acidic items. Don't lie down right after eating. Also, loose-fitting clothes can help. If it's severe, definitely discuss with your gynecologist for safe medication options.

I suffered a lot during my pregnancy. What helped me was eating small, frequent meals instead of big ones. Also, avoid lying down immediately after eating, give it at least 2-3 hours. A glass of cold milk sometimes helped with the burning. And definitely avoid spicy, oily food and citrus fruits.

Ah, acid reflux is very common during pregnancy, beti. My grandmother always said to drink a little buttermilk after meals. But modern doctors will also tell you to eat small meals, avoid spicy and fried items, and sleep with your head elevated. Always trust your doctor's advice for medication if the discomfort is too much.

This is something I really worried about during my pregnancy planning! My doctor said it's very common because of hormonal changes and the baby pushing up. She recommended avoiding large meals, not eating close to bedtime, and definitely staying away from anything that triggers it for *you*. Sometimes even simple things like mint or chocolate can be triggers. It's okay to be anxious, just be extra careful.

Ho na, pregnancy mein toh yeh sab bahut hota hai. What helped me was eating very light dinner, like daliya or khichdi, aur sone se do-teen ghante pehle kha lena. Aur haan, thoda sa fennel (saunf) after meals sometimes helps. Don't eat anything too heavy ya oily, that's the main thing. Aur doctor ko poochna bhi important hai.
