How often position change for pregnant women to reduce pain?

I'm in my last trimester and finding it really hard to get comfortable. My back and hips hurt a lot, especially at night. My mother-in-law keeps telling me to change positions often, but how often should a pregnant woman actually change positions to reduce pain, especially while sleeping?

For pregnant women, changing positions frequently is definitely recommended to ease discomfort and improve circulation. Many apps suggest shifting every 30-60 minutes, especially when sitting or lying down for long periods. Gentle movements and walking are also beneficial if cleared by your doctor.

As a friend in healthcare, I'd say frequent position changes are a must for expecting mothers to relieve aches. Every hour or so if you're sitting or standing, and definitely switch sides if you're lying down. Listen to your body, it will tell you when you need to move.

For pregnant women, maintaining good circulation and preventing discomfort is vital. Frequent position changes, perhaps every hour, are important. While I focus on my BP, I know that gentle movement and regular checkups with an obstetrician are key for expectant mothers to manage any pain and ensure a healthy pregnancy.

Oh, the pregnancy aches are real! I just delivered, and I found changing positions almost constantly helped a lot. Even just shifting my weight a little every 15-20 minutes made a difference, especially in the last trimester. Side sleeping with a pillow between my knees was a lifesaver!
