How often is frequent urination in early pregnancy?

I just found out I'm pregnant, barely a few weeks along. I'm already feeling like I need to pee every hour! Is frequent urination normal so early in pregnancy, or is this happening more often than usual?

Oh, frequent urination is super common in early pregnancy! Like, all the time, haha. It's because your body is making extra fluid. Just make sure you're drinking enough water, even if it means more trips to the washroom. And maybe avoid too much chai at night!

Beti, in shuruwati pregnancy, baar baar peshab aana toh normal baat hai. Garbh mein bacche ke vajah se hota hai. Bus khoob paani peena, aur koi dikkat lage toh apni mahila doctor ko zaroor dikhaana. Kabhi kabhi thodi garam cheezein bhi aaram deti hain.

While I manage my BP with regular checks and mindful eating, I know that for pregnant women, frequent urination is very common, even early on. It's a physiological change. However, if it's accompanied by pain or burning, then it's essential to see a doctor quickly to rule out infection.

Yeah, like, my cousin who just had a baby said she was basically living in the bathroom during her first trimester! It's super normal 'coz of all the hormonal changes and extra blood flow. Just stay hydrated and try not to stress about it too much.

My older sister, who has two children, told me that frequent urination is one of the very first signs many women notice in early pregnancy. It's usually nothing to worry about and just your body adjusting. But for any concerns, it's always best to consult your gynecologist for reassurance.
