How much weight loss is noticeable?

I've been working hard to lose weight, but sometimes I feel like no one notices. How much weight do you generally need to lose before others start seeing a difference, especially in clothes?

Honestly, I think even 3-4 kg makes a difference, especially if you're not super tall. People might not say anything directly, but they'll notice your clothes fitting better or your face looking a bit slimmer. Consistency is key!

From my own experience, when I lost about 6-7 kgs, people started asking if I was working out or dieting. Before that, even after losing 3-4 kgs, no one really commented. It also depends on where you tend to lose weight first, like face or tummy.

It depends a lot on your starting weight, haan. For someone heavier, 5kg might not be much, but for someone lighter, it's a lot. Don't worry too much about what others notice, focus on how *you* feel and if your clothes are looser. No need for fancy tests, just a good diet and exercise.

Beta, don't focus too much on what others see. The real difference is how you feel and the health benefits. Generally, 5-10% of your body weight lost is usually noticeable to others. But your personal journey is more important than external validation.

Mere dost ne 2 kg kam kiya aur sab bol rahe they 'kya hogaya yaar, patla hogaya tu!'. So, sometimes even a little bit makes people notice. Maybe they just want to tease you, haha! Don't stress too much, just keep going at your own pace.

My doctor at Apollo Hospital told me that usually, if you lose around 5% of your body weight, people start noticing. It also depends on your body type. Best to talk to a nutritionist or doctor if you have specific goals, they can give tailored advice.
