How much weight loss is healthy?

I'm trying to lose some weight, but I want to do it in a healthy way. What's considered a healthy amount of weight loss, like per week or per month? Don't want to overdo it.

Be careful with general advice. What's healthy for one person might not be for another. It's really best to consult a doctor or a registered dietitian. Don't trust everything you read online without cross-verification, especially when it comes to health.

Honestly, it totally depends on your starting weight and body type! 😊 But generally, 1-2 kg a month is considered super healthy and sustainable. No crash diets please! Your body will thank you later. ✨

Haan, log bohot tezi se weight lose karna chahte hain aajkal, but woh unhealthy hota hai. Mera fitness instructor bolta hai ki 0.5 se 1 kg per week is good. Usse zyada ka target mat rakhna na, body ko shock lagta hai.

Yaar, I've been researching this too! It seems like a slow and steady approach is the best. Like, if you lose too much too fast, it's usually just water weight or muscle, not fat. Plus, it's harder to keep off that way.

Beta, don't rush into anything drastic for weight loss. Your health is more important than a number on the scale. Aim for changes you can stick with for life, not just quick fixes. Take it slow, listen to your body, and don't hesitate to talk to a good doctor if you're unsure.

Mere experience se, anything more than 4-5 kgs a month is pushing it too much. I lost 10 kgs in 3 months by just eating ghar ka khana and walking everyday, no fancy stuff. Focus on consistency and small changes, that’s what works long-term.

It's important to consider individual factors like age, metabolism, and current health conditions. A gradual loss of about 1-2 pounds (0.5-1 kg) per week is often recommended by health professionals as safe and sustainable. Consulting a physician or nutritionist for a personalized plan is always the most advisable route.
