How much weight loss intermittent fasting?

I've been hearing a lot about intermittent fasting from my gym friends. They say it helps with weight loss. What kind of weight loss can I realistically expect if I try it out?

I totally get it, wanting to know the exact numbers for weight loss. For me, intermittent fasting really helped kickstart things, but it wasn't super quick. It's more about consistency and what you eat during your window. Don't expect miracles overnight, but it definitely works over time!

Oh, weight loss. The eternal quest, no? With IF, I found I lost about 2-3 kgs in the first month, mostly water weight I think. After that, it slowed down but stayed consistent. My body felt better, but my wallet still felt heavy, haan. Don't expect to suddenly look like a Bollywood hero just by skipping breakfast.

Ho na, everyone asks this only! Kitna weight jaayega? For me, I didn't focus on the number so much. I felt lighter and more energetic. I guess around 1-2 kg a month initially, but it depends on your body and what else you're eating, haan na? It's not a magic trick.

Puttar, I've seen many fads come and go for weight loss. With intermittent fasting, it's not about how much you lose quickly, but how you sustain it. I tried it a few years back, and it helped me feel less bloated and my digestion improved. The weight loss was gradual, maybe a kilo or two each month after the initial water weight. Stick with it, don't get disheartened.

Look, I can only tell you about my journey. I tried IF for about three months. I wasn't weighing myself daily, but I noticed my clothes fitting better. I'd say it helped me shed maybe 5-6 kgs total, but I was also mindful of what I ate. Everyone's body is different, so what worked for me might not be the exact same for you.

Beta, for weight loss, patience is key. Intermittent fasting is a good way to control your eating, just like how our elders used to fast for health. But just fasting isn't enough; you must eat good, home-cooked food in your eating window. The weight will reduce slowly, naturally, with a disciplined routine. Don't rush it.

Namaste ji! If you're doing IF, the main thing is feeling good, haan? I didn't lose so much weight very fast, maybe just a little bit here and there. But my stomach felt lighter, and I didn't feel so heavy after eating. It's more about feeling healthy inside, not just the numbers on the scale. Take care!
