How much weight loss a week is healthy?

I've started a new diet and exercise plan, and I'm seeing some changes. I want to know how much weight loss per week is considered healthy and sustainable. Don't want to overdo it.

Hmm, I wish it was like 2-3 kgs a week, then I could eat all the chaat I want! 😉 But seriously, most experts say 0.5 to 1 kg a week is the healthy and sustainable way to go. Slow and steady wins the race, and lets you enjoy your food too!

For someone like me with diabetes, consistent and moderate weight loss is key. My doctor always advises aiming for about 0.5 to 1 kg per week. Anything more drastic can impact blood sugar levels and energy, which is not good for managing the condition. Patience is important.

From a medical standpoint, a safe and sustainable weight loss rate is generally considered to be 0.5 to 1 kg (1 to 2 pounds) per week. Losing faster can often mean losing muscle mass or water, which isn't ideal for long-term health. Always aim for gradual progress.

This question used to stress me out so much! I always wanted quick results. But after a lot of struggle, I realized that 0.5 to 1 kg a week is truly the most realistic and healthy goal. Don't feel bad if it's slow, it's about making changes for life, not just for a number on the scale.

Optimal and healthy weight loss is typically 0.5 to 1 kilogram per week. This ensures you're losing fat, not just water or muscle, and that the changes you're making are sustainable. Anything much faster can often lead to rebound weight gain and nutrient deficiencies.

Beti, dheere-dheere hi kaam hota hai. Jaldi ka kaam shaitan ka. Aadha kilo se ek kilo har hafte kam karna achha mana jaata hai. Ghar ka saaf-suthra khaana khao, subah shaam thoda tahlo. Niyam se chalti raho, phal zaroor milega.

Haha, if it was more than 1 kg a week, I'd be trying to sell my 'secret' diet plan! 😂 But in all seriousness, 0.5 to 1 kg is what all the health gurus and docs recommend. Anything more is usually just water weight or muscle, not actual fat loss. Stay consistent!

Hamein toh ghar mein bolte hain ki dheere-dheere kam karo, wahi acha hai. Har hafte aadha se ek kilo tak kam ho jaaye toh bahut hai. Bas roti thodi kam khao, subah-shaam thoda chalo. Zyada mehnat karni se sharir thak jaata hai.

For someone with high BP like me, rapid weight loss can be risky. My doctor always emphasized a steady loss of about 0.5 kg to 1 kg a week. This allows the body to adjust better and helps in managing BP effectively. Regular checkups and doctor's advice are paramount.

Yaar, actually, 0.5 to 1 kg per week is considered healthy. Anything more than that and you're probably losing muscle or water, which is not good in the long run. It needs to be sustainable, na? Small changes make a big difference over time.

Hey, don't stress too much about super fast weight loss, okay? Most docs and dieticians say around 0.5 to 1 kg a week is healthy and actually stays off longer. It's about changing habits, not just shedding kilos quickly. You got this!

Seedhi baat no bakwas: 0.5 se 1 kilo (1 se 2 pound) ek hafte mein. Yahi healthy aur permanent tareeka hai. Zyada tez karoge toh wapas aane ke chances zyada hote hain. Sabar rakho aur mehnat karte raho.
