How much weight gain is healthy in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first baby and everyone keeps telling me different things about my weight. My mother-in-law says I should eat for two, but my gynae gave me some limits. I want to make sure I'm gaining healthy weight for the baby.

Healthy weight gain really depends on your starting weight (BMI). They say a certain range, but don't just blindly follow it. Regular checkups are important, so you know everything is normal. That way, you avoid costly complications later on. Eat simple, healthy ghar ka khaana, no need for expensive fancy foods.

I just went through this! My doctor told me it depends on your pre-pregnancy BMI. For someone with a normal BMI, it's usually around 11-16 kgs for the whole pregnancy. Don't stress too much about the exact number, just focus on eating nutritious food and staying active as advised by your doctor.

The recommended weight gain is not a one-size-fits-all. It really depends on your pre-pregnancy BMI. I know someone who gained too little, and another who gained too much, and both had complications. So, please, consult your gynecologist to get a personalized target range for yourself. It's crucial for a healthy pregnancy.

Yaar, this is such an important question! Actually, healthy weight gain isn't just one number for everyone. It depends on your BMI before pregnancy. For example, if you start at a normal weight, it's usually 11-16 kgs. But your gynae will tell you the exact range for you, so always ask them!

Healthy weight gain in pregnancy? Enough to grow a human, that's what! Haha. Seriously though, it's different for everyone, so don't compare. Just keep your doctor happy and your baby fed, that's the main goal!

The appropriate weight gain during pregnancy is highly individualized and primarily depends on your pre-pregnancy Body Mass Index (BMI). Guidelines suggest specific ranges, but your obstetrician will provide the most accurate and safe recommendations tailored to your health. Regular monitoring with your doctor is paramount.

Healthy weight gain? My wife gained enough for me to also gain sympathy weight! Kidding. It varies, usually 11-16 kgs for most, but depends on your starting size. Just make sure it's coming from healthy food, not just cravings, because losing it afterwards is a whole other struggle!

The doctor will give you a range based on your starting weight, typically 10-15 kg for a healthy BMI. The best way is simple: eat homemade, nutritious food, not junk. Drink lots of water. And try to do light walks every day if your doctor says okay. No need for expensive health routines.
