How much water during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and sometimes feel a bit dehydrated. My mother told me to drink lots of water, but what is the actual recommended amount of water during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, staying hydrated is absolutely non-negotiable! As a vegetarian, I made sure my diet included plenty of water-rich fruits and veggies too, alongside plain water. My dietitian recommended around 3-3.5 liters a day, which accounts for the increased blood volume and amniotic fluid. Don't rely on sugary drinks; plain water or infused water is best.

Please, please don't underestimate water intake during pregnancy. I got severely dehydrated once because I wasn't drinking enough, and it led to early contractions which was very scary. Always keep a water bottle handy and sip throughout the day. If you feel any dizziness or lightheadedness, call your doctor immediately. Better safe than sorry!

Beti, jab tum maa banne wali hoti ho, toh sharir ko bahut pani chahiye. Hamare gaon mein toh sab kehte the, khub pani peeyo. Kam se kam 8-10 glass toh peena hi chahiye, aur garmi mein toh aur zyada. Thoda thoda karke peeti raho, achcha hota hai.

As a mom, I remember my gynaecologist stressing on hydration. It's vital for amniotic fluid, preventing UTIs, and managing swelling. I always kept a big bottle with me and tried to finish 2-3 of them a day. Listen to your body, but generally aim for around 8-12 glasses. And remember, soups and fruits also count!

Ah, pregnancy! Such a special time. Water is your best friend then. My mother always said 'pani hi dawa hai'. It helps with everything from digestion to keeping the body cool. I remember drinking plenty, just normal water. Don't overthink it, listen to your thirst, but keep sipping throughout the day. It's a natural healer.

Hey! Don't stress too much about measuring every drop. Just keep a water bottle always nearby and sip throughout the day. Your body needs extra water for the baby and all the changes. Aim for maybe 2.5-3 litres, but if you're thirsty, drink more! It helps with everything from constipation to energy.

Yaar, during pregnancy, water intake is super important, actually! My wife's doctor said around 2.5-3 litres is good. It's not just for her, but for the baby's development, amniotic fluid, and to avoid swelling and UTIs. So, make sure she's always hydrated, na?

Oh, water, glorious water! During my pregnancy, it felt like I was constantly chugging water, then running to the bathroom every five minutes. The sleep deprivation was real, but at least I was hydrated! Aim for like 10-12 glasses, but honestly, your bladder will dictate how much you actually manage before you give up for the night.

I'm always worried about not drinking enough water, especially now that I'm pregnant. Does anyone else feel like they're constantly thirsty, no matter how much they drink? My doctor said 3 litres, but I feel like I could drink more! Is there such a thing as too much water during pregnancy?

Water during pregnancy? My wife drank so much water, I swear I could hear the ocean when she walked! Haha. But seriously, it's a lot. Like, 3-4 liters easily. Get a good water bottle, fill it up, and tell her to keep sipping. You'll be making many trips to the washroom, but it's all for a good cause!

I always worry about not drinking enough water, especially with so many important body functions relying on it during pregnancy! What if I'm accidentally dehydrating myself? My doctor said 10-12 glasses, but I still keep counting. Just make sure you're getting enough, it's vital for everything from blood volume to baby's development.

Bahu, pregnancy mein toh pani amrit ke samaan hota hai. Hamare ghar mein toh saare bade budhe yahi kehte the ki garam pani peeyo, aur nimbu pani bhi bana ke peeyo thoda. Doctor se bhi pooch lo, par pani toh khoob peena chahiye, sharir saaf rehta hai aur bachcha bhi swasth hota hai.

As someone with PCOS, I've learned that consistent hydration is important for managing overall health, and it's even more crucial during pregnancy. While the general recommendation is around 2.5-3 litres, it's best to discuss this with your gynaecologist. They might adjust it based on your health, activity level, and local climate. Don't take chances with this.

Pregnancy already has so many expenses. Water is one thing that's largely free! Don't spend on fancy juices. Just plain filtered water is best. Aim for around 3 litres. You can also make a big pitcher of infused water with cucumber or mint, keeps it interesting and affordable. No need for expensive drinks.
