How much protein to consume for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and focusing on eating healthier. I hear protein helps with feeling full and losing weight, but I'm not sure how much is too much or too little. What's a good amount of protein to consume for weight loss goals?

I had to lose weight to manage my high BP, and my doctor suggested aiming for about 1.2 grams of protein per kg. Make sure to choose low-sodium options and avoid processed meats. Regular blood pressure checkups are also very important during this phase.

While high protein is popular for weight loss, please ensure your kidneys are fully healthy first by getting a simple serum creatinine test. Unsupervised high-protein diets can sometimes trigger underlying health issues. Safety should always come first.

My general physician explained that 1.2g to 1.5g of protein per kg of body weight is ideal for weight loss to prevent muscle wasting. She also emphasized keeping hydration high to support metabolism. I would highly recommend consulting your doctor to get exact numbers.

As a diabetic trying to lose weight, I have to be very careful. I try to consume about 70-80 grams of protein daily from dal, paneer, and eggs, which also keeps my sugar levels stable. Always check your blood sugar levels regularly when altering your diet.

I always advise people to aim for about 1g of protein per kg of body weight for healthy weight loss. Try to get it from natural food like sprouts, lentils, and lean meat rather than relying heavily on supplements. Keep your water intake high too.

With a 9-to-6 desk job, counting every single gram of protein is impossible. Just try to include a portion of curd, boiled eggs, or paneer with every meal to hit around 60-70g easily. It's a highly realistic approach that actually works for long-term weight loss.

Don't fall for fancy dieticians who charge thousands for weight loss diet charts. Just aim for around 60g-70g of protein using cheap daily foods like sattu, peanuts, soy chunks, and eggs. It is highly effective and doesn't pinch your pocket at all.
