For weight loss, a good general target is about 1.2 to 1.6 grams of protein per kilogram of your target body weight daily. It helps with satiety and muscle retention while you're in a calorie deficit. Don't overcomplicate it; focus on lean protein sources at every meal and track your intake for a few days to get a baseline. Time is precious, so plan your meals.

Hey, don't stress too much about exact numbers initially! A good starting point for weight loss is usually around 1.2 to 1.6 grams of protein per kg of your ideal body weight. It keeps you full and helps save your muscles while losing fat. So, add more paneer, dal, eggs, chicken, etc. to your meals! You got this!

While a general guideline for weight loss is 1.2 to 1.6 grams of protein per kg of target body weight, it's always best to consult a registered dietitian or nutritionist. They can give you personalized advice based on your specific health conditions, activity level, and goals. Always get it checked by a professional for safe and effective results.

This is a confusing one for me! I've read so many different numbers. Some say 0.8g/kg, some say 2g/kg. Has anyone else struggled to figure out the right amount? And does it make a big difference if you don't hit the target every single day, or is consistency more important? I just don't want to mess up my metabolism.

When I was trying to lose weight, my nutritionist recommended around 1.5 grams of protein per kilogram of my current body weight. This kept me full and helped maintain my muscle mass. Focus on including a good protein source in every meal – eggs, chicken, paneer, lentils. It really makes a difference to your satiety and overall progress.
