How much protein per day for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and tracking my macros. I know protein is crucial, but I'm confused about the exact daily target. How much protein should I aim for each day for weight loss?

Bhai, you don't need any expensive protein powders. Just drink a glass of fresh milk morning and evening, and eat a bowl of chana or yellow dal. It naturally helps you stay fit and lose weight.

At 50, trying to calculate 1.2g of protein per kg of my body weight just gives me a headache. I just eat three boiled eggs in the morning and call it a day. It works well enough for my belly fat!

Don't buy those costly supplements. Just replace your evening tea biscuits with a handful of roasted chana, and have 100g paneer with your lunch. It easily gets you around 60-70 grams of protein daily on a budget.

Beta, don't heat up your stomach with those market powders. Eat freshly made green moong sprouts and drink a bowl of thin daliya. This is the traditional way to lose weight while keeping your body cool and healthy.

I aim for 1.2g of protein per kg for weight loss, but if you have thyroid issues like me, weight loss can be very slow. Make sure you get your TSH levels tested regularly and follow up with your doctor alongside your diet.

I totally get it, trying to figure out protein targets while managing a busy life is so stressful. Just focus on adding one protein source to each meal instead of stressing over exact numbers.

I just finished my weight loss journey and lost 14 kg. Keeping my protein strictly at 1.4g per kg of my body weight kept me full and saved my muscles. It works, just stick to it every day.

I am too tired from night shifts to even count macros. I just try to eat a box of curd and some paneer whenever I am awake. If I lose weight, great; if not, at least I got some sleep!
