How much protein intake for weight loss?

I'm seriously trying to lose weight and have been told to focus on high-protein foods. I'm just not sure about the exact amount. What's the ideal protein intake for effective weight loss?

For my weight loss and diabetes control, I aim for about 1.2 grams of protein per kg of body weight. I rely on safe, low-sugar sources like paneer, sattu, and eggs. Always monitor your blood sugar when you change your dietary intake.

My college-going daughter lost weight healthily by targeting about 65 grams of protein daily. I made sure she had simple home-cooked paneer or double dal daily. Slow, steady weight loss with home food is always the safest way.

I lost 15kg last year. I just kept my protein at 1.5g per kg of my body weight and hit the gym. It keeps you super full so you don't end up snacking on junk all day. Simple as that.

Honestly, if I don't eat enough protein, my brain just screams for butter chicken and garlic naan. Aiming for 80g of protein keeps me full and actually lets me enjoy my weight loss journey without feeling miserable.

Listen, don't stress too much about exact numbers! Just try to have some boiled eggs, paneer, or sprouts with every meal, aiming for roughly 60-70g a day. You will definitely see progress without driving yourself crazy with calculations.
