In my 60 years, I have seen many people take short-cuts for weight loss, but medicines like metformin are meant for diabetics. True health and weight loss only come from daily walking and home-cooked meals.

Bhai, metformin is a sugar medicine, not a weight loss pill. Please don't take it on your own just to lose weight, it can cause weakness and stomach pain. Consult a proper doctor in a good hospital first.

Unless you are clinically insulin resistant, metformin won't magically make you lean. Save your money and focus on creating a consistent caloric deficit with strength training and clean eating.

My doctor put me on Metformin 500mg twice a day because of my high insulin levels. It does help thoda with weight, but only if you combine it with strict carb control and daily exercise.

Metformin is not a primary weight loss drug; it is prescribed for insulin resistance. I managed my weight by switching to a high-protein vegetarian diet with plenty of fiber instead of relying on heavy pills.
