How much l carnitine for weight loss?

I've started working out more and my trainer suggested L-carnitine might help with weight loss. I'm trying to figure out the right amount to take. How much L-carnitine is generally recommended for weight loss?

L-Carnitine is often marketed for fat burning, and typical doses in supplements range from 500mg to 2000mg per day. However, scientific evidence on its efficacy for weight loss is quite mixed. It is always best to consult a certified sports nutritionist or doctor before starting it.

My physician mentioned that while L-Carnitine helps in transporting fatty acids into cells for energy, taking more than 2 grams a day can cause side effects like nausea, cramps, and diarrhea. If you decide to take it, stick to 1000mg per day and monitor how your digestion responds.

Most guys in my gym take 1.5g to 2g of L-Carnitine liquid or tablets about 30 minutes before their workout. Honestly, it gives a mild sweat boost, but it won't do anything if your diet is not in a calorie deficit. Focus on your training and protein first, then think about these extra supplements.

There are many modern Powders and tablets nowadays like L-Carnitine, usually taken around 1 gram. But true health comes from a peaceful mind and simple living. Eat natural foods, walk in nature, and keep your thoughts positive. Take care of your temple.

I tried taking 1000mg of L-Carnitine daily for a month during my summer shred. To be honest, I didn't see any major difference compared to just drinking black coffee before my workouts. Save your pocket money and just stick to a clean diet, guys.
